Penn Station’s work of art

This wall mural was created by the artist Andrew Leicester and is part of Ghost Series, which consists of five monumental bas-relief terra cotta artworks installed throughout the station. All 5 pieces evoke the 1910 Pennsylvania Station building, the Penn Station’s predecessor, which was demolished in 1963.

  1. There are more and more artworks in the NY Subway... It is slowly becoming a tourist attraction!

  2. @Benoît: I still think this is nothing compared to Montreal subway ;) Maybe except for the lovely characters at 14th Street station(...this makes me think that I have to publish my pictures of them)
